Join the Jesus bus campaign - Don’t knock it till you've tried it!

 

As you may or may not know there is currently an atheist bus campaign. Www.atheistcampaign.org have been collecting donations to advertise on the sides of buses, on the underground and on large screens in oxford street. Their slogan reads “there’s probably no God, now stop worrying and enjoy your life”. (Yes people really do put time and effort into things they do not believe in!)

 

We embrace this campaign and welcome the debate. As a speaker from the Christian Advertising Network has said, “the worst thing that could befall us is apathy”

We want people to be thinking about their existence and whether or not there is a God. One cannot find the truth unless one searches for it.

We have decided to also run a campaign called the Jesus bus, just so that the ‘atheists’ can have a little help with their way of thinking.

 

We are all one in the body of Christ and we need to unite on this. Lets be soldiers wearing the armour of God, who are not afraid to stand up and speak up about our belief.

 

If non believers can put this much time, effort and money into something like this, then what more can we do.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)”

 

Calling all Ministers: - We ask for your help with this marketing campaign. We would love your cooperation by announcing this project to your leadership and congregation and asking them to join us, as well as spreading the Word.  If you would like to help more actively, you could hold a Church fund raising event in aid of the Jesus bus campaign. All proceeds that will be donated will be used to fulfil the Jesus bus campaign.

We know how much work is involved in running a ministry, you may feel that you are unable to get involved other than maybe offer a donation. We would love to come down during one of your events or services and just spend a couple of minutes informing everyone about the campaign just to increase the awareness.
